Last updated: August 16, 2026
Hebrew: עוצמה יהודית (“Jewish Power”) · Founded: 2012 · Leader: Itamar Ben Gvir (National Security Minister)
Far-right, rooted in the Kahanist political tradition. Ultranationalist, pro-settlement, hardline on security policy and on policy toward Arab citizens of Israel; draws support from Mizrahi traditional and some Haredi-adjacent voters.
- 2022: ran jointly with Religious Zionism (combined list won 14 seats).
- 2026: running separately; Ben Gvir has repeatedly ruled out re-merging, arguing the two parties now draw from “fundamentally different” electorates. Polling has climbed to roughly 8–10 seats as Religious Zionism’s support has fallen.
- Key 2026 demand: Ben Gvir has made the removal of Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara a condition for joining any future coalition.
